Master of Arts, University of Texas at Austin (Public Relations & Arts). Masters in Public Health, Texas A & M University (Health Management & Policy). Bachelor of Arts, Lawrence University (International Studies/Spanish).

She has a marketing experience as Product Manager in a Unilever Licensee in Ecuador. After several years in the business sector, she made a career transition to the nonprofit sector. She has a decade of work experience in project management in public health, development and indigenous affairs fields with CARE International in Ecuador and the Government of Ecuador.

As a Certified Community Health Instructor, she is able to motivate and engage audiences with participatory techniques, and to monitor and evaluate their changes in behavior and practices. In addition, her capacity building skills are second nature to her, she has worked closely with private donors, development agencies and local governments. Her success lies in her keen analysis and problem solving techniques to implement projects, including social marketing strategies, public communication campaigns, digital media schemes, and persuasion tools for media advocacy, in nonprofit organizations and corporate responsible programs.
